Triumph redesigning the Triple?

According to rumours on the net, Triumph seems to be getting on a new engine soon. The big Triple currently uses a 1050cc engine, but in reality, it is based on an engine made in the 90s. The British company is said to be thoroughly redesigning its big triple. There are many reasons including the fact that it anticipates the 1100cc triple will be allowed to compete in WSB under future rule changes. We also expect Triumph to use the new engine in the next couple of years for the engine range including the Tiger and Sprint ST.
