There were rumors a while ago that the new chip maker would continue making the older the A4 chips, while Samsung the A5's. My guess is that there will be two new iPhones. One very similar to the iPhone 4 without the glass back as the cheaper model. And the all new 4" screen A5 iPhone with a somewhat higher price tag than today's iPhone 4.
There were rumors she was into field hockey players....

EyeTV has a free service called My EyeTV which resolves the IP. You just need to register with your email address and a password, then within the EyeTV app on the iPhone you enter same and you can connect from anywhere.
If you want to opt out and not provide this information, you can get the OS X version of dyndns.org to manage a domain name that handles dynamic IP address changes.

Safari is even snappier now! :p
Will there ever be a release without someone making this 10 year old, stale, not funny in the first place joke?

Obviously you've never seen a scratch from a metal snap made on a carbon fiber auto hood.
Obviously, a laptop or phone isn't exposed to a metal snap that holds down a carbon fiber hood and just flaps in 90 mph winds. They would make deep scratches in the aluminum too. Aluminum is quite "soft" as far as metals go.

That sounds pretty minor compared to the US. Might I suggest a visit to LA, Chacago, NYC or large southern city so you can get a sense what goes on here?
I do have a sense of what's going on there.
Norway is a small country with only 5M citizens in the whole country (600K in the capital city). The land area is about the same size as the state of California. Most phenomenons would seem minor compared to the US. But I guess the fact that almost anyone can afford to buy food for an entire month or two in advance if necessary, makes mass looting Chicago-style far less likely.

Yet what those hackintosh prove is that Apple is charging a "Mac Pro tax" of around 1000$, +/- a few hundreds depending on configuration. Even if that tax was only 500$ +/- a few hundreds, the question remains: why?
It just proves you can put Mac OS X on cheaper hardware. Which is why so many people do it. People have put Mac OSX on netbooks, but obviously a netbook would never be considered a workstation class computer.

To wrap up, those of you who have smart phones, whattya use AND what do you think to probability that Apple will release a phone w/ smart phone capabilities?
I have a couple of Windows Mobile phones (Samsung i600 and i730). The i600 is nice and compact, but the simple UI makes it a "read-only" phone. The i730 with the full PPC touch screen interface is simply amazing. I wish that the i730 were smaller, but I end up carrying the extra bulk because it can do many things that my laptop can!
Have my email (Outlook), calendar (Outlook), address book (Outlook), maps (MS Streets), web (Internet Explorer) - with me, all the time. As well as several other Windows apps that have be adapted for the Windows phone APIs.
The i730 has EV-DO, so having 700 Kbps internet wherever I am (well, didn't work so well in Guam and Tahiti) is a killer app.
If Apple comes out with "Mobile OSX", then they'll have an interesting offering (even though they'll have a blatant ripoff of Microsoft's mobile innovations).
If they have a mutant "wanna-be" set of apps, then it's a "not very smart phone™".

Unless Apple makes it white plastic - that is so out of style now....

New desktop to add to my mix. Made this from a picture a friend took, combined with a background I found on DeviantArt. Not the best quality, but looks ok on my 13" screen.

How can either of you say this? You know nothing about what they do. Granted neither do I but what if they are doing this for the better? Give it time before you know them for "trying"

Biggest problem with Veloster: it needs a more powerful engine. Maybe Hyundai will see it fit to install the 173 bhp 2.4-liter I-4 found on the current Kia Forte, which would give the Veloster a needed performance boost. :)
perhaps down the line for the US market, for the european market a NA I4 2.4 liter engine with 173hp is just going to gather dust in the showrooms
140hp will be fine for the launch looking at the competition: the cr-z is 136 hp hybrid only, the megane ranges from 110 to 180 and the scirocco from 120 to 210 (that is a 2.0 turbo petrol) including diesel options
and those hardly selling great at the moment: don't make it worse with an unsellable engine

I ended up buying an iPhone 4 ten days ago because my 3G s died (I really was hoping that my 3G s would have lasted until the iPhone 5). With this news I might look into the possibility of 'sidegrading' to the white iPhone 4.
I'm still within the 30 day return policy with Apple-I just need to see if AT&T will penalize me.

Ah yes, the old America-is-cheaper-than-the-world problem. You are right, the iPhone *can* cost more in some markets. I was talking about the American market.
And yes, more Android phones are sold than iPhones as long as you lump all the Android phones into one big bucket, including all those Asian knockoffs that are Android in name only.

Samsung leads US phones? That surprises me.
Keep in mind that Samsung and LG provide a huge number of "free or dirt cheap with subscription" feature phones, and that pre-Android Motorola phone owners are still subscribing to mobile plans.

wtf apple? I remember the day I bought my iphone 4 and it works blazing fast, and now it's getting slower and with choppy animation, with every update. Is it apple preparing us for super fast iphone 5?
wtf is exactly what i've been saying for a while.
I hate to think that Apple intentionally leaves these issues unaddressed so that you fall for the idea that "maybe the iPhone 5 will run current software better".
But that's exactly what they do. They leave these goose eggs to annoy the user who notices such things, who are coincidentally the same people who will buy a new iPhone to fix lag issues.
I've owned every iPhone, and every new iPhone running X.0, runs beautifully, only to be slowed down and negatively effected by every single interim update.

The Iphone 5 will come this summer. A new Iphone always does. Fall is for Ipods. Spring is for Ipads. There is enough space for apple do it all.
