no finger print notice either. But I have heard that take a couple of weeks after the EAD and AP approvals. Some of them got them before the AP approvals came. its weired how they work..

I am in the same boat as you. My EAD expires on Sept 12th. Still no response from NSC center. I have few friends that I know, who filed after I did and they all have recieved their EADs. Not sure whats going on.

I need expert advice -
My I-140 has been approved and I-485 pending for more than 18 months. I have a valid EAD & AP. I also have a valid H1-B visa valid till 2011,
that I am using for my current employment with my current employer
1. If I get laid-off, how long can I stay in US without another job?
2. I understand that in order to maintain my eligibility to "port" to a new employer / sponsor under AC21, I should have another job in same or similar occupation. Till I find another job, am I allowed to do some part-time job in different occupation?
3. If new employer gives me the option to move permanently to its subsidiary in another country, what are the available option for me to continue with green card processing?
4. If after going out of the country , I want to come back in future before Green card approval, what will be the available options?

3 deportations at POE (EWR) till date this yr .
only offence was they all working in the midwest (Kansas) and their company was based in nj .. admins can we start tracking deportations and make this as a sticky
P.S I have not heard this from a friends friend .. i will give all the info to PAPPU or equivalent

Working in a different location is not an offense........Unless, the company did not file an LCA for the location of work. Did you mean to say the deportations were related to LCA violations?

Congressmen from hi-tech SF and CA.
That is why they may be using this tactic to bring pressure from hospitals from that area. Anyone from here spoke or wrote to these congressmen, that I posted in the other thread (http://immigrationvoice.org/forum/showpost.php?p=47625&postcount=1) at IV.
I doubt if the above three even know what the whole deal on these 90K visas is. where they come from, what are at stakes, who lost them, why they lost them etc things. I agree with you that we need to call these and let them know that these belong to EB, hence recapture them for EB and request them to allocate special 50K/90K to Schedule A

I have never been to florida.. This is what concerns me also why they sent the case to miami,fl local office.. I Checked with attorney also he said it is not going to effect the processing of case.

What was the status on USCIS online system when you got an RFE? The reason I am asking is today my status changed to "Document Mailed to the Applicant". Not sure whether this is an approval or RFE. Of course will know in few days.

i am wondering do you have LUd for i-485 or i-131 or i-140 ?
it was for my EAD application (I already completed the finger printing ..it took 2 minutes but I had to drive a total of 50 miles ..waste of time and gas ..my last finger printing was 4 months ago ..I get the feeling that they send us for FP just to keep the folks at the FP office busy on a saturday !!) ..I saw the date change twice ..but no new message (last wed and friday) ..maybe they did not want to work before the long weekend.

I am proud of my 4 year old girl. She has written a letter to the President. When a 4 year old can write , we have 25k adult members and only about 500 of them have sent letters! Why ?

Just add this word document, and send a email to your work email address with the word document attached. when you see this email at work, just print 2 copies of the attachment, thats all you have to do.

So, the bottom portion of you H1 approval notice (I-797) does not have an I-94 ?
If not, then doing it in Canada for the first H1 can be a big gamble.

It looks like the picture is quite severely overexposed. Since you have a bright moon on a black background, depending on the relative sizes of the moon and background, the exact focusing point and how the metering works you'll easily end up with an overexposed moon (due to the dark background).
As an alternative , spotmeter the moon to figure out the exposure and/or use the histogram.
