Thats good to know. But what was your basic education? I mean did you had a full-time bachelor's (eg. Engineering, Commerce, etc) degree when you appled for H1b?
I am also looking for some sponsor who can sponsor my H1B. Is anyone recommendable?

Hi , My wife is on h4 visa and I want to file H1B for her and she has It experience of 3 years .Please guide whats the procedure .
Talk to your employer.He will give you full details. The process will be the same way as your H1B process.

I got laid off from Company A in Jan.2009 but I filed transfer for my H1-B to Company B based on receipt notice which I have for Company A. but Just now I came to know from USCIS that Transfer which I filed for Company A in Oct.2008 has RFE and Company A denied to answer RFE cos I am no longer their employee.

Question:

1. Can I get a receipt notice for Company B ?
2. Is there really an Issue for my Transfer to company B due to RFE in previous filing?

My firm recently extended my H-3 training visa until June of 2008. The old one ran out at the beginning of November 2007 and I was told by my lawyer that I could stay in the country, that my status would be okay.

However, I left the country for a personal emergency and didn't have time to go to the consulate while I was away for a new stamp. The current visa in my passport had expired by this point.

Upon my re-entry to the country I filled out the green I-94w form.

What do I need to do to get my correct status? have I done anything to affect my H3 status??

Any advice greatly appreciated!!!

Now for GC, if I mention the previous work ex in the form, do I need to provide the returns or something??

Not required. no need of them even you mention your work exp from india. Don't worry. just address is fine.

I am applying to renew my EAD and looking at the paper Application on page 7 I see that if you are C9 which all of us are mostly..we need not file an application fee..
Is it true..
Plz help

If you paid the new fees when you filed last year then you don't have to pay the fees again this time. But if you paid $180 for ead then pay again now.
